Learn Creativity and Watercolor 

Expand your creativity and learn watercolor! Take art classes and learn skills that will be with you for a life-time. This art class covers color theory and painting techniques in watercolors. You learn about papers and various drawing techniques. A report release by  the Center  on Aging states that people who take art classes are more likely to use less prescription medications, are mentally more alert, and have better overall health. This should convince you that Creativity and Watercolor Classes at the North Valley Senior Center is a away to stay young, healthy and fit in mind body and soul.

If you are experienced or have taken previous classes please bring your art work to class to show me what you would like to work on for this session.

We will explore Realism and Abstraction using, wax, salt, plastic wrap  and learn different techniques through brush stroke. A lesson will be given in color theory, composition and design formal elements that make a work of art.
