Students will learn how to paint in acrylics using tested methods of contemporary painters. Principles of design will be presented and practiced. Color theory and its application to landscape painting will be highlighted. The goal of the class is to confirm and help develop the skills, perceptions, and self-expression of each artist as they are met at their individual level of skill.

“Painting Still Life and Landscape with Acrylics” is a beginning painting class for adults being offered at the North Valley Senior Center in Albuquerque, NM. This class will be offered in May of 2015.

This class explores in depth several techniques using acrylics.  Color theory, Composition, drawing, are some of the formal elements of painting that will be covered in theclass.
