Follow us as we venture into Learning to See
Learning to see begins with learning to read. We learn letters that are combined to form words that form sentences and then paragraphs that gives us books. Learning to see also includes: color, texture, patterns, shapes and lines and these we create from pictures, objects or architectural streetscapes and urban areas. Learning to see allows us to understand our environment.
Learning to see means to become visually literate. Visual literacy helps us to interpret, appreciate and create images using both traditional media and 21st century media that inform our critical thinking, decision making skills, and how we communicate those ideas.
